# New: Average Sell Price + Amazon Out of Stock

Filter out price spikes, spot Amazon price-matched deals, and bring out-of-stock listings back to life with the new Sell Price dropdown and Amazon Out of Stock tab.

Two new features are now available to everyone in ArbiSource: a **Sell Price** dropdown (Vault and Price Drops) and a new **Amazon Out of Stock** tab in the Vault.

Both help you see opportunities that the current Amazon price alone can hide.

## Sell Price: Current Price or a Period Average

In the Vault, after you open a store, Amazon category or keyword search, a **Sell Price** dropdown sits at the top of the results toolbar. On Price Drops, the same control is on the Matched tab.

Options: Current Price, 30 day average, 90 day average, 180 day average, and 365 day average.

With an average selected, results use the average Amazon price over that period instead of the price right now. Your choice is saved — switch back to **Current Price** when you want live-price results again.

### Why this helps

1. **Filter out price spikes** — similar in spirit to the Average Profit filter. If an Amazon price has spiked temporarily, a deal can look profitable on Current Price when it normally isn’t. On a period average, those results can drop out, so you’re less likely to be shown deals that only look good because of a short-term spike.
2. **Find price-matched opportunities** — the more important case for many sellers. Amazon sometimes price-matches the retailer. On Current Price the deal looks unprofitable (or drops out of your filters). On a period average, you can still see products that would usually meet your profit expectations once that temporary match ends.

Example: a retailer drops a product you like, Amazon briefly matches that retail price, and Current Price shows little or no profit. Flip Sell Price to a 90 day average and the same match can reappear as something worth watching, because historically the Amazon sell price has sat higher. You still decide whether to buy, hold or wait; the average just stops the temporary match from hiding the opportunity.

## Amazon Out of Stock

Beside Stores, Amazon Categories and Search by Keyword there is a new tab: **Amazon Out of Stock**.

Browse by Amazon category. Results show where Amazon currently has **no offers** (zero sellers), but which would be profitable based on the average price from when the item was in stock. That combination was not visible in ArbiSource before — and it means you can find listings to bring back to life, where you may face reduced competition while there are no other sellers.

Choose the average period (30 / 90 / 180 / 365 days; defaults to 90).

The first time you use it, a one-off note explains that out-of-stock listings can be hidden opportunities with less competition and demand to capitalise on — but if a product has other variants, Amazon may redirect you to a different in-stock variant. Always check the variant on Amazon matches the ArbiSource result before you buy, and double-check the figures before purchasing.

## How to use it

1. Open the **Vault** (all plans) — or **Price Drops** if your plan includes it.
2. For average sell pricing: open a store, category or keyword (Vault), or the Matched tab (Price Drops), then pick a period from **Sell Price**.
3. For out-of-stock browsing: open **Amazon Out of Stock**, pick a category and average period, then review as usual.
4. Before buying from an out-of-stock result, confirm the Amazon variant and double-check the figures.
